Had a mashed potato bowl today and it was BANGIN. Didn’t have to wait long for it to be ready, reminded me a little bit of Foodswings from back in the day. So yummy, warm and satisfying. Very cute spot and so many gluten free options too.
Stopped in today. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Great variety on the menu and everything hit. Vegans - add this to your list. Non vegans - great way to try plant based food.
Freakin' Vegan has amazing food for all! We just went, as they are having a soft opening, and we are so glad we did. The new menu items are sooo good. We went with non-vegan friends, and they could not stop raving about the food. They already asked when we should go back to try more. It is a great takeout spot! Kurt, the owner, is so nice, and he and his lovely wife prepared our large order with great customer service and attention to detail. His recipes are amazing and we really want him to bottle his BBQ sauce for sale. They are still getting everything ready, so patience goes a long way. We are always happy to support a small local and vegan business and excited to see when they are fully open. Go check it out - It will be the best decision you make today!
Great food, great service. My favorites from my most recent visit are the BBQ Chik'n Mac and Cheese and the Sweet Heat Chili Over Rice, for which the cornbread is the perfect accompaniment. Lots of GF options too. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu
First of all, I am not a vegetarian, although I appreciate the dedication of those who are. That being said, I don't just judge this place based upon that they are vegetarian. I've been to quite a few veggie places, some of which were modestly "eh". Having said that, this place was really good. It's purely take out as it's a small place, though the counter area is amazingly clean and inviting. I ordered a chicken parm which was phenomenal. I would put this above most any chicken sandwiches I've ever had, veggie or not. You can tell the ingredients and preparation are of high quality. And it was a good portion too. I spoke to the owner, Kurt, who was quite the gentleman and runs a great small operation. This place is a gem. I would recommend Freakin Vegan to both vegans and carnivores alike.
Owner recommended the Buffalo mac and cheese and it was amazing! I definitely want to go back and try his other recommendations especially the Philly cheesesteak.
This place is phenomenal. I made a 40 minute drive just to get their buffalo mac and cheese. It’s not only a great place for any vegans or vegetarians, but also for people who just want to try something new and flavorful in their diet. Their staff is so friendly which just complements everything. Edit 9/22: A few days ago I stopped by again and overheard the guy at the counter mention a story about how he saved a chipmunk with 6 other people! Very cool :)
Food is amazing! Flavorful and abundant! Buffalo Chick'n Mac n Cheese is a must Owner was super nice. Easy online ordering and quick pickup. Looks like they do catering too.
